A Typical Week at CCB Youth...

8pm on Zoom
For Older Youth

We are currently looking at 'The Reason for God' by Timothy Keller.

We encourage your teen to get a copy of this book (second hand is perfect!) so that they can write comments, thoughts, and questions in the margins while we discuss!

Zoom details are shared in the Youth WhatsApp Group.

7:30-8:30pm in the Church Hall
For school years 7-13

On a typical Friday, we gather to play some games, catch up about our weeks and have a small discussion at the end.

Details and updates are posted on our youth Instagram and in the youth Whatsapp.

Late Night Worship

Recently we have introduced some late night worship at the end of our youth sessions on a Friday night. You don't have to stay after youth if you don't want to, but we love worshipping and having the young people lead it!
Worship starts at 8.30pm until 9pm (give or take a few minutes if the songs are long!)

For the first Friday of each month we have a social, this means no discussion slot and a new location.

Our October social will be a Movie Night. More details will be emailed out to parents and sent to teens via the Whatsapp group.

Sunday: During the 10:30am Service
On the West Lawn/Room 7 (depending on the weather!)

For school years 7-9

This is where the younger youth meet each Sunday for games and a bible study.

We have a social on the first Sunday of each month because it is fun and allows the young people to get to know one another better!

Consent Form

We love having young people join us but it's really important that we know who to contact if an emergency arises. Please click here to get a consent form.

The form has a few tick boxes within it, if you are filling it out online, please put 'YES' at the end of each line that you consent to. Please send the completed document to Jess and she will get back to you (her details can be found at the bottom of this page).
We never post pictures of young people online or on our social media without parental permission!

We can't wait to meet you!

Youth Resources

Note to parents: We encourage you to have a look at these websites too. Knowing the support that is out there for your young person can really help!

We trust these sites, but it's still worth you knowing your way around them and the topics they talk about.

Parent Resources

Sometimes it can be quite hard to know where to go for help, here are some sites that may be of use to you and your young person. Some links will discuss topics that are not suitable for young people to know about alone. These have been marked with '18+' because they discuss sensitive topics.

Click here for some more information on why parents are an essential part of youth ministry.
