Welcome to CCB Youth!
Hello! Thanks for taking time to have a look at our website! Below you'll find a list of our activities as well as some resources and links that might be useful for you AND your parents.

Friday Night Youth
A Typical Week at CCB Youth...
TUESDAY BIBLE ZOOM
8pm on Zoom
For Older Youth
We are currently looking at 'The Reason for God' by Timothy Keller.
We encourage your teen to get a copy of this book (second hand is perfect!) so that they can write comments, thoughts, and questions in the margins while we discuss!
Details are posted in the youth WhatsApp group!
FRIDAY NIGHT YOUTH
7:30-8:45pm on the West Lawn
For school years 9-13
On a typical Friday, we gather to play some covid friendly games (socially distanced ninja with paper hands seems to be a favourite at the moment!), catch up about our weeks and have a small discussion slot at the end.
We are currently in our summer series and looking at how faith looks in different environments (i.e. faith at a party?)
Details are posted on our youth instagram and in the youth whatsapp.
We will be taking a break from Youth on the last two weeks of August so that our leaders and young people can be refreshed and spend time with their family over the summer.
The dates youth is NOT on are: 20th and 27th of August
For the first Friday of each month we have a social, which means no discussion slot and a new location. In August, we will be meeting at church and then walking down to the park together.
Details will be sent out to parents in an email, and the teens will be informed via the Whatsapp group!
* All of our games are socially distanced, safe and risk assessed. Some teens are siblings and are in the same bubble. We also have a few who are exempt from wearing masks due to medical reasons!
Sunday: During the 10:30am Service
On the West Lawn/Room 7
For school years 7-9
This is where the younger youth meet each Sunday for games and a bible study.
We have a break for the All Age service so that the young people can be with their family and have the chance to be involved in the service!
(Being in the big hall gives us access to the outdoors, but also means we can sit at a safe distance!)
We love having young people join us but it's really important that we know who to contact if an emergency arises. Please click here to get a consent form.
The form has a few tick boxes within it, if you are filling it out online, please put 'YES' at the end of each line that you consent to. Please send the completed document to Jess and she will get back to you (her details can be found at the bottom of this page).
We can't wait to meet you!
Note to parents: We encourage you to have a look at these websites too. Knowing the support that is out there for your young person can really help!
We trust these sites, but it's still worth you knowing your way around them and the topics they talk about.

Sometimes it can be quite hard to know where to go for help, here are some sites that may be of use to you and your young person. Some links will discuss topics that are not suitable for young people to know about alone. These have been marked with '18+' because they discuss sensitive topics.
