* This evening will include a meal of a) Main: lamb, green vegetables, ratatouille, rice; b) Dessert: choice of fruit salad or traditional Haroseth (apple, walnuts, honey, spices) with cream; Matzoh (unleavened bread) will be served during the Passover celebration “service”.  Suggested donation £5 per adult/ children free.  Please sign up on the sheet by the pigeon holes.  Deadline for signing up Tuesday 16th April.

C4-CARP Art ExhibitionThursday 18th- Saturday 20th April 10.30am-4pm at Three Rivers Church 88 Denmark Street, Bedford.  Free admission, browse the display (some paintings for sale), chat with the artists, meet the wood carvers and enjoy refreshments.

Messy Crafts Thursday 18th April. 11am-1pm - Join us for some Maundy Thursday themed crafts, story, songs, games, fun and yummy lunch. We also need helpers for this session so if you are able to help please let Gillian or Becky know as soon as possible, thank you.

Colour; scent; leaves and stems; designs; shapes; creativity; teamwork; conversations; refreshments; enhancing our worship space.

If you'd like to find out more about joining in with the flower team here at CCB to decorate the Church ready for the Easter celebrations or to be part of our week by week team, please talk to Sue Platt (325651) or Ruth Templeman (721310) who can explain what's involved!

If you are able to donate greenery for Easter decorating, please leave it beside the bike racks (Denmark St side entrance) on Good Friday. Thank you!

Join us for the Easter Monday (April 22nd) Pilgrimage to St Albans. Suitable for all the family. For more details see the poster/flyer or speak to Rachel Bennett or Becky Guynn.

Alpha – Next course starts Tuesday 7th May at 7.30pm in room 1. Alpha explores the meaning of life over 10 weeks, whilst finding out about Jesus and the Christian faith. Topics include: Who is Jesus? Why did he die? How do I pray? Does God guide? How do I read the Bible? Each session involves refreshments, a talk and discussion. Is this for you or for a friend/neighbour?

GROW Group – new course for all those recent (and fairly recent) Alpha guests wanting to know so much more. Studying Mark's Gospel, Bible overview and living in God’s Commandments. STARTS Tuesday 30th April at 7.30pm in church halls (Room 5) – for more information, please see Richard Hibbert or Michael Bishop.

Other notices and activities

Foodbank – please bring non-perishable donations place in labelled box in The Hub. FOOD needs: fruit juice (long life), tinned fruit, & rice pudding, jars of pasta sauce, jam, tinned vegetables, spaghetti, tuna & meat (casserole/stew), UHT milk, cup a soup, rice (250g/500g). NON-FOOD: washing up liquid, laundry washing tablets, multi-purpose cleaning spray, shower gel, deodorant (m/f), shampoo & clean second-hand saucepans.

The Word Christian Bookshop(167 Castle Road) has Easter cards, gifts and Real Easter Eggs for sale Mon-Sat 9.30m-5pm. Please support our local Christian bookshop.
