PCC/Deanery Synod representatives’ role involves:

2) co-operate with the minister in sharing leadership
3) ensure legal compliance with charity law
4) care for the buildings and church gardens

They are encouraged to pray for Christ Church and its activities, attend meetings having prepared in advance, and contribute to the discussions.
Prayer Emphasis Day this Thursday (28th March) – as church members we pray together (if we can) between Noon and 1pm, as you are able. Please stop and pray for our church, your role in church and your openness to God’s prompting to serve and care wherever you are that day.
Brexit Prayers – The Archbishops have asked that all churches set aside time to chat and pray for our nation from 28th to 31st March. The Prayer Room will be available daily any time, especially between Noon and 1pm.
A prayer for our Nation
God of hope, in these times of change, unite our nation and guide our leaders with your wisdom. Give us courage to overcome our fears, and help us to build a future in which all may prosper and share; through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.
