Electoral Roll *** New Electoral Roll *** – This year we have to create a completely new electoral roll (ER). COMPLETE your form today. The ER is the formal list of church members, says you delight to be at Christ Church and support our aims and values. It also allows you to vote at our 2019 Annual Church Meeting (Wednesday, 27th March, 8pm).
PCC There are four Parochial Church Council places (for three years) Please consider whether you or someone you know should be nominated to stand.
Thank you to all those members of the church family who helped in any way with organising Ann Gray’s funeral - flowers; cakes; putting/taking down tables and chairs; serving; clearing away; getting hot in the kitchen; organist, sound, and all those people who were there to support Ann’s family at this time of great loss and sadness. Church Pigeonholes have been relocated in the back corridor for ease of access and greater security. They are now labelled for Staff members and A-Z for church members.
Congratulations Following attendance at Bishops' Advisory Panel, Bishop Richard has accepted their recommendation that Min-Min Peaker be trained for Ordained Ministry (Priest). Min-Min thanks all in her Christ Church family for their support, encouragement and prayers.

Sunday Walks begin again on TODAY. Meet at church car park 2pm share cars to Elstow to walk and return to Wendy Pegg's home for tea and cake. Join us if you can.
Quiz Night - Saturday 9th March at Christ Church at 7pm in aid of the work of Pilgrims' Friends Society. Suggested donation £5. Build your own team of six or let us know and we can sort a team for you to join. Contact RB or the contact name on the poster/flyer.

Hub Welcomers – do you like to welcome local people to our new halls and rooms? We need day-time Hub welcomers to serve on a rota to make our halls the friendliest in town. Please contact Dawn to offer a few regular hours.
Magazine Editor and/or Magazine layout – Sarah Cottenden is stepping down after the April edition. Can you help build our sense of family and community, following up leads and pulling together an interesting magazine that speaks to us and our community?
Visitors wanted Ian Brown is now at Stoke Mandeville Hospital near Aylesbury for further treatment: please pray for him that he will make continued progress. Are you willing to visit him on a rota basis? Please contact Edward or Margaret Tufnell.
“Mamma Mia: Here we sing again” ABBA Evening– Saturday 16th March 7pm at Christ Church £12.50 adults £8 children/students. A fun evening with Greek food, quizzes and dancing. For tickets phone Gillian Lindley or ask one of the Malawi team.
Lake District Holiday – 17-21 June @ Thornleigh Hotel, Grange over Sands – We have one spare twin room available, for a couple or shared or possibly single occupancy. Please speak with Rachel Bennett for this great opportunity to join the 40 going already.
Foodbank – please bring non-perishable donations any Sunday & place in labelled box in The Hub. Particular needs THIS MONTH: teabags (40s/80s), fruit juice (long life), tinned fruit, & rice pudding, jars of pasta sauce, jam, tinned vegetables, spaghetti, fish & meat (casserole/stew), UHT milk, cup a soup. Non-food: needs washing up liquid, laundry washing tablets, multi-purpose cleaning spray, shower gel, deodorant (male and female) shampoo and clean second-hand saucepans.
