PCC news on 2017 finances
MESSAGE from RICHARD. “We are facing a deficit of at least £10,000 for this year's budget, not helped by unexpected necessary maintenance and heating costs arising from the building works. … Our budget is there to advance God’s mission amongst us, to make His name known, to strengthen and make new disciples. The largest annual expenditure is staff salaries, mission giving and maintenance. Please pray for God's overruling financially and for how you can respond even this month to ensure that we meet all our necessary missional expenditure.”
Church account details: Sort Code: 40-52-40 / Acct No. 00020562 / Christ Church PCC Bedford
Thank you to those who have already been able to contribute towards the deficit. Please pray for God to provide all our needs for this year and next.
Christmas Collections: We’re supporting with our Christmas collections King's Arms Nightshelter: Serving people with nowhere else to go. The Nightshelter is Bedford’s front-line residential house, providing hospitality 365 days a year to those who have nowhere else to sleep for the night. The men and women who stay at the Nightshelter come from a wide variety of backgrounds: drug or alcohol related problems, suffering violence, family break up or recently come out of prison. King's Arms Nightshelter believe that no person is a hopeless case. No one is too entrenched in poverty to be beyond help. Over the years they have seen people overcome extreme adversity to go on to achieve incredible personal success, and often reintegration into society.
