Church Family News
Revision this year closes Monday 9th March. The electoral roll is the formal list of our church members, those who delight to be at Christ Church and support our aims and values. Membership allows you to vote at our 2020 Annual Meeting (Tuesday, 24th March, 8pm). Forms from Church Office or collect from HUB.

Elections to PCC (Parochial Church Council) and to Deanery Synod
There are 4 PCC places for 3 years, 1 PCC place for one year and 4 Deanery Synod places for 3 years. Please consider standing to serve our church in this key leadership capacity. Nomination forms available by the pigeon holes.

PCC/Deanery Synod representatives’ role involves:
 1) enable the church to play its part in God’s mission to his world
 2) co-operate with the minister in sharing leadership
 3) ensure legal compliance with charity law
  4) care for the buildings and church gardens
  5) be a channel of consultation within the wider Church.

They are encouraged to pray for Christ Church, prepare for the meetings and contribute to the discussions. Download Explanatory leaflet from here or collect from the Hub.

Can you assist in our worship? Both the AV and PA team would be greatly enhanced by two more people each. Both teams are vital to the smooth running of our weekly services. Stop and chat with Simon Platt (PA) or David Currie (AV) to hear more, and arrange a ‘look and see’ opportunity for you.

Our midweek youth work is led by AJ and a small team. Most Christians come to faith before the age of 25, so listening, building relationships and enabling faith discussions with young people is a powerful opportunity to make new lifelong disciples for a life of worship and service of Jesus. If you have a passion to be part of this team to make new disciples from our young people then contact AJ Wade
